Baronwood Kennels is a small, family-owned business that offers boarding, grooming, and training services and is searching for a pet groomer to bathe and to perform haircuts on dogs (and ideally, cats). The office staff will work with the groomer to book appointments so that the schedule is neither too thin nor too overwhelming. Management will allow you to discuss instructions with the customers directly and will back you up if you decide a dog must be shaved or if it must see a veterinarian before being groomed. Management will also understand if you refuse a dog because it is too dangerous or require it to be on tranquilizers for grooming. The right candidate will be dedicated to her/his craft and to treating all pets well. Potential employees should also feel comfortable discussing pets with their owners and approaching management with any concerns. Raised tub, Hydrosurge, grooming table, K-9 ll dryer, nail clippers, Dremel, shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaner, and cotton balls provided. Wahl clippers and some blades and attachments available if yours break or need service. Wednesdays and Sundays off. No nights. Compensation is 50 percent commission.
