Job Description

Summary As a Kennel Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and handling for our canine residents. Your premium skills, such as kennel experience, will enhance the well-being of the animals. Strong communication skills will be essential as you interact with pet owners and team members, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for all dogs in our care.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and attention to animals in our facility
  • Feed, water, and clean animal enclosures
  • Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to supervisors
  • Assist with grooming and bathing of animals
  • Walk dogs and provide exercise and socialization for any size dog and in all kinds of weather
  • Assist with training dogs on basic commands and behavior
Skills:
  • Previous experience working with animals, particularly dogs, is preferred
  • Knowledge of animal behavior and basic training techniques
  • Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
  • Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards for animals
