Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Grooming Assistant. As a Grooming Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and grooming services for our furry friends. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about animals and wants to make a difference in their lives.
Duties:
  • Assist groomers with bathing, drying, and brushing pets
  • Animal restraint during grooming procedures
  • Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
  • Provide basic grooming services such as nail trims and ear cleaning
  • Monitor the well-being of pets during grooming sessions
  • Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with animals, preferably in a grooming or veterinary setting
  • Knowledge of pet care and grooming techniques
  • Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long periods of standing
