Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Animal Care Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a desire to provide excellent service to our furry guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the opening of the shelter. Clean kennels both inside and outside to ensure a hygienic environment. Maintain clean and safe areas for the animals throughout the day. Feed and water animals according to their specific needs. Rotate animals based on the schedule to ensure proper care and socialization. Assist in preparing the shelter for closing, including cleaning and organizing. Provide compassionate care and attention to animals, ensuring their well-being while they await adoption.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a genuine love for animals and demonstrate patience, compassion, and responsibility. Prior experience in animal care or working with animals is preferred but not required. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Reliability is crucial, especially regarding transportation and availability on weekends. Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and caring for animals is necessary. Flexibility in scheduling and a positive attitude are highly valued. Candidates must be committed to providing high-quality care and creating a safe environment for all animals.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
