Job Summary Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Groomer, where your passion for animals and talent for pet styling come together to create happy, healthy, and beautifully groomed dogs. In this energetic role, you will provide top-quality grooming services while ensuring each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Your expertise will help owners maintain their pets' hygiene and appearance, fostering strong relationships with clients and their furry companions. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your skills in animal handling and customer service will shine. Must be willing to work every other Saturday. We are open Tuesday through Friday one week and Tuesday through Saturday the following week. If you love grooming than we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, pet coat styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning to meet each dog's specific needs. Handle dogs with care using animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff during grooming procedures. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide expert advice on pet care and maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, adhering to sanitation standards to promote a healthy environment for animals. Assist with pet handling during drop-off and pickup, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and owners. Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, minimum of 1 year experience Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet coat styling tools and methods. Strong communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally. A genuine love for animals combined with excellent customer service skills ensures every pet leaves looking great and feeling loved. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
