We're hiring a Dog Walker to join our team at the Humane Society of Missouri! We're looking for someone with at least 6 months of hands-on dog handling experience , especially with large or strong dogs. This role involves walking shelter dogs-many of which are strong, energetic, and require confident handling. You'll be expected to maintain safe control at all times.
What We're Offering:
Part-time, seasonal role $16 per hour Flexible schedule - Weekends required Focused availability between 2:00-6:00 p.m. , but we're open to discussing what works best for you A chance to work directly with rescue animals and support their daily enrichment and care
What We're Looking For:
At least 6 months of direct dog handling experience (shelter, daycare, boarding, vet clinic, etc.) Confidence handling large or strong dogs A reliable, safety-conscious team member with a love for animals Must be at least 18 years old This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain more experience in animal care while supporting the mission of the Humane Society of Missouri.
