COMMISSION

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, styling, and pet coat care tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle animals safely and gently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences, provide grooming recommendations, and discuss any health concerns observed during the service Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly to uphold hygiene standards Assist with pet handling tasks such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and basic veterinary-related procedures when necessary Manage animal care responsibilities including feeding, light veterinary assistance, or kennel duties as required Support team members by participating in training sessions on dog handling, animal restraint, and customer service best practices Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong focus on dog handling and pet coat styling techniques Knowledge of animal handling, restraint methods, and pet care best practices to ensure safety for pets and staff alike Familiarity with veterinary procedures such as pet nail trimming and basic animal health assessments Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or large animals; physically capable of standing for extended periods Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is advantageous but not mandatory Join us in creating a positive grooming experience that pets love and owners trust!
