Are you dependable, caring, and willing to work hard? Shakers Dog Wash & Grooming may be the perfect place for you. We are looking for a Dog Bather to join our team. At Shakers, our employees are our most important asset. We believe that when our staff feels respected, supported, and appreciated, they can provide the very best care for our clients and their dogs. This is an active, hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Some dogs will be excited to see you. Some may be nervous. Some may shake water all over you. A good sense of humor definitely helps! What You'll Do Bathe and dry dogs according to client instructions and breed needs Trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth as needed Brush coats and help prepare dogs for grooming appointments Safely handle and restrain dogs during bathing and grooming procedures Monitor each dog's behavior, comfort, and health Keep bathing stations and work areas clean, organized, and safe Provide friendly, helpful customer service to dog owners Work closely with the rest of the Shakers team to keep the day running smoothly Hourly pay is $18. With tips our Bathers earn $21.50-$27.00 per hour. What We're Looking For Previous experience working with animals is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments Dependable, punctual, and ready to work Strong attention to detail Able to follow instructions and safety procedures Patient, compassionate, and kind with animals A team player who is willing to help wherever needed Able to handle a physically active job that includes standing, bending, lifting, and getting wet Why Work at Shakers?
