Kennel Technician Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our pet care team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to animals in our facility. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the well-being of pets through attentive handling, cleanliness, and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with animals and contribute to their comfort and safety during their stay. Duties Handle dogs with care, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Provide daily pet care, including feeding, administering medication if necessary, and monitoring their health and behavior. Maintain cleanliness of the pet care facility by sanitizing kennels, cages, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with pet boarding activities, ensuring pets are comfortable and secure throughout their stay. Perform cleaning duties to maintain a tidy environment for both animals and staff. Skills Strong animal handling skills with a gentle and caring approach. Knowledge of pet care routines, including feeding and basic health monitoring. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and pet owners when necessary. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties and handle animals of various sizes. Commitment to maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment.
