Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning enclosures, and administering medications as needed Monitor animal behavior and health, recognizing signs of illness or distress promptly Assist with animal handling and restraint during veterinary procedures or behavioral training sessions Support habitat maintenance by identifying native plants and managing landscaping to mimic natural environments Engage in outdoor work activities such as habitat enrichment, environmental law compliance checks, and species taxonomy documentation Requirements Demonstrate knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and behavior across various species Experience with animal handling, restraint techniques, and animal husbandry practices Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for active duties Veterinary experience or medication administration certification is a plus.
