Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure both pet and personal safety during grooming procedures Provide pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene services to promote overall health and well-being Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests, provide care advice, and address any concerns or special needs Assist with animal handling tasks such as kennel cleaning, pet sitting, and managing animals during grooming sessions Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools are sanitized and equipment is in excellent working condition Support veterinary staff if needed by assisting with basic animal care or veterinary technician tasks related to grooming or health assessments Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related animal care fields such as veterinary technician or assistant roles Strong dog handling skills along with animal restraint and care techniques across various species including dogs and horses Knowledge of pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and animal hygiene practices Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as large breed dogs or equipment safely and comfortably Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Experience with kennel management, heavy lifting, animal handling, and pet sitting is preferred A genuine love for animals combined with a proactive attitude towards providing exceptional pet care services Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
