Responsibilities Conduct daily dog walks, ensuring proper exercise and outdoor activity tailored to each pet's needs and behavior. Provide in-home pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and maintaining routines. Monitor pets' health and behavior during visits, alerting owners of any concerns or unusual signs. Handle animal restraint safely during grooming, veterinary visits, or medication administration. Maintain clear communication with pet owners regarding their pets' activities, health status, and any incidents. Assist with pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing when required. Perform care duties including cleaning, feeding, and ensuring animals are comfortable and secure. Requirements Prior experience with dog handling, animal care, or pet sitting is highly preferred. Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior management. Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus for understanding medical needs. Comfortable with outdoor work in various weather conditions; physical ability for heavy lifting is necessary. Excellent client communication skills to build trust with pet owners. Ability to handle multiple pets safely using animal restraint techniques. Reliable transportation to travel between client locations efficiently.
