Kennel Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The Kennel Technician will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of animals in our facility. This role requires a passion for animal care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must be able to work in all elements in a ranch setting. Insurance regulations require all employees to be 18 or older. For the right person, there is also the opportunity for growth and advancement within the organization. Duties

• Provide food, water, and proper care to animals in the kennel
• Clean and sanitize kennels, and animal sleeping areas
• Monitor animal behavior and health status
• Assist with animal restraint and handling when necessary
• Administer medications as necessary
• Assist with grooming and bathing of animals
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed
• Maintain accurate records of animal intake, care, and behavior Experience
• Previous experience in animal care or related field preferred
• Knowledge of animal handling techniques
• Familiarity with ranch work a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods

Pay:

$14.50 per hour
