As a Pet Stylist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our furry friends look and feel their best! You'll be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while creating a positive and welcoming environment for pets and their owners. Your expertise in pet care will shine as you handle various breeds and temperaments, ensuring every pet leaves happy and healthy. What you'll do Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, and styling for dogs and other pets. Assess the needs of each pet to provide personalized grooming experiences. Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, adhering to all health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming options, pet care tips, and any concerns regarding their pets' health or behavior. Handle animals with care, utilizing proper animal restraint techniques to ensure their safety during grooming. Provide basic pet care services such as nail clipping and ear cleaning. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation within the facility. Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to enhance service offerings. Basic qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming or related animal care roles. Strong skills in dog handling and animal restraint techniques. Excellent customer service skills to engage with pet owners effectively. Requirements Experience with professional pet grooming of a variety of breeds. Possess a portfolio of previous work. Previous kennel or pet care experience is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy animals safely as needed.
