Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate dog bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and grooming, ensuring that pets receive the highest level of attention and comfort during their bathing experience. This role involves working closely with various breeds and sizes of dogs, providing essential grooming services while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Duties Bathe, dry, and groom pets according groomer preferences. Handle and restrain animals safely during grooming procedures to ensure their comfort and safety. Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area, grooming tools, and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly and considerate Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to management. Assist in the overall care of animals within the facility. Qualifications Experience in dog handling or pet grooming is preferred. Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles is a plus. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming sessions. Strong animal handling skills with a focus on pet care and comfort. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or equipment. Previous kennel experience or pet sitting background will be considered an asset.
