About Fairview Boarding Fairview Boarding is a locally owned, premium dog care facility serving the Asheville area. Our team provides lodging, enrichment daycare, grooming, and professional dog training, all centered around one thing: providing exceptional care for dogs. We take our work seriously; we care about the details, and we want team members who are proud to put their name behind the work they do. A Position With Room to Grow Our Groom Salon is an important and rapidly growing part of Fairview Boarding. We are looking for someone who wants more than just a temporary job—we'd love to find someone who can become an important part of the salon as we continue to expand. For the right person, there will be opportunities to develop additional grooming skills, take on greater responsibility, and grow along with the department.
What You'll Do:
Working under our Groom Operations Lead, you'll help keep our grooming days running smoothly by: Bathing dogs thoroughly and safely Drying and properly prepping coats for the groomer Brushing and basic coat preparation Nail trims and other basic grooming tasks as trained Keeping bathing, grooming, and kennel areas exceptionally clean and organized Helping groomers maintain an efficient daily schedule Safely handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, coat types, and temperaments Following instructions and established grooming and safety procedures Helping ensure every dog receives patient, thoughtful care Who We're Looking For More than anything, we're looking for the right work ethic and attitude.

Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday from 7:30 am-4 pm, though there are days it may be longer.
What We Offer:
