Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dog Groomer to join our dynamic pet care team! In this role, you will deliver top-quality grooming services that enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of our canine clients. Your expertise will ensure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and pampered throughout their grooming experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of dog breeds and sizes, utilizing your skills in pet styling and animal handling to create happy, satisfied pets and owners alike. Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, styling, and pet coat styling tailored to each dog's breed standards and owner preferences Handle dogs safely and confidently using animal restraint techniques to ensure both pet and groomer safety during grooming procedures Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners to discuss grooming needs, provide advice on pet coat care, and address any special requirements or concerns Assist with pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other pet care routines as needed Monitor pets during grooming for signs of discomfort or health issues; report any concerns to veterinary professionals if necessary Support the team with heavy lifting of large or heavy dogs and assist in animal handling tasks across the facility when required Qualifications Proven experience as a Dog Groomer with a strong portfolio of grooming styles and techniques. Skilled in animal handling, pet restraint, and companion animal handling to ensure safe grooming sessions Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners confidently and professionally Ability to perform pet nail trimming, pet sitting duties, and other animal care tasks efficiently Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during busy grooming sessions Passionate about animal welfare with a genuine love for working with dogs of all breeds and temperaments Join us in creating a positive grooming experience that leaves pets looking fabulous and feeling fantastic! Pay:
$850.00 - $1,200.00 per week
