This position is for an established groomer who is confident working independently and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Do not apply if you have less than 3 years of professional grooming experience. We are open Tuesday-Friday 7:45-4:00 Applicants must: Have a minimum of 3 years of professional dog grooming experience Be knowledgeable and confident in breed-standard clips Have strong scissoring and finishing skills Be comfortable grooming all breeds and sizes Have their own professional grooming equipment/tools Have reliable transportation Have a strong work ethic and dependable attendance Be willing to complete a test groom as part of the interview process Provide recent photos of your own grooming work with your application. Applications without photos will not be considered. Clean and sanitize their work area after appointments and participate in daily salon cleaning and assigned chores Work well independently while also being respectful of the salon, coworkers, clients, and their pets Maintain a consistent work schedule. We need someone reliable who does not frequently call out or request excessive time off. Professional Appearance & Hygiene Because this is a client-facing position in a professional salon, employees are expected to arrive at work clean, well-groomed, and appropriately dressed with good personal hygiene. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance is a requirement of the position. Compensation & Employment This is a W-2 employee position , not an independent contractor position. Compensation is commission-based, with commission determined by experience and skill level. We are looking for someone who understands that professional grooming involves more than grooming the dog. Reliability, cleanliness, teamwork, communication, and salon upkeep are all part of the job.
