Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Animal Care Attendant and become a vital part of providing compassionate, high-quality care for client's beloved pet dogs. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and calm environment for pets in our care. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, grooming, and administering medications as directed Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills to ensure safety for both pets and staff Maintain cleanliness of suites and common areas through regular sanitization and cleaning routines Assist with pet boarding and outdoor group play activities to promote animal enrichment and comfort Engage in dog training activities to promote good behavior and socialization Ensure compliance with pet care facility sanitization standards and safety protocols at all times Experience Previous animal care experience is required Experience in pet sitting or pet boarding environments preferred Skills in dog training, animal behavior understanding, and handling various breeds confidently Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when moving supplies or large animals safely Outdoor work experience that includes exposure to varying weather conditions while caring for animals outside or in open spaces Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members about animal needs This role is perfect for animal lovers eager to make a positive difference in the lives of pets. Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
