Job Overview Wags & Whiskers Pet Salon is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and dependable individual to join our team as a Pet Bather. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hands-on care to our furry clients. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment where you can positively impact the lives of pets and their owners.

Hours:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays 7:30 am to 2:30 pm and every other Saturday 7:30 am to 2:30 pm

Duties:

Bathe, brush, and dry pets according to specific instructions
Trim nails and clean ears
Gently handle pets during bathing and grooming procedures
Assist groomers with restraining animals during grooming sessions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area
Monitor pet behavior and report any concerns to the supervisor
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns

Skills:

Customer service: Ability to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner
Heavy lifting: Capable of lifting and restraining larger animals when necessary
Dog handling: Experience handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments
Pet care: Passion for providing high-quality care to pets If you are passionate about working with animals, have excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working on a team, we would love to hear from you.
