Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Kennel Technician and Doggie Daycare Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional animal care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our canine guests, and supporting daily operations within our pet care facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Duties Feed and bathe dogs according to their individual needs and schedules Monitor dogs during playtime in the daycare area, ensuring safe interactions and handling any behavioral issues Clean kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a sanitary environment Help Vet Techs Restrain animals safely during examinations or procedures Handle pet intake and discharge procedures with professionalism and care Educate pet owners about proper pet care and answer questions regarding their pets' needs Maintain detailed records of animal health, behavior, and daily activities requirements letting Doctors and Vet Techs know if there are any issues Knowledge of dog training, pet grooming, or veterinary technician experience is a plus Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain animals safely and humanely Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work weekends or holidays if needed Passion for animals with a genuine desire to provide compassionate care and support for pets and their owners
Pay:
$8.00 - $14.00 per hour
