Job Description
- 50% Commission.
The more experienced and efficient you are, the greater your earning potential. Position Responsibilities As a groomer at Lush Pups Pet Spa, you will be responsible for the complete grooming process, including
- Bathing and conditioning
- High-velocity drying and fluff drying
- Brushing and de-shedding
- Breed-specific haircuts
- Scissoring and finishing
- Nail trimming/grinding
- Ear cleaning
- Sanitary trims
- Safe handling of dogs throughout the grooming process
- Maintaining a clean and organized grooming area
- Communicating professionally with clients regarding their pets' grooming needsThis is a full-service grooming position. A bather is not provided, so the groomer is responsible for the entire grooming process from start to finish. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will
- Have professional dog grooming experience
- Be comfortable grooming a variety of breeds, sizes, and coat types
- Have strong breed-specific grooming and finishing skills
- Be confident handling dogs with different temperaments
- Take pride in producing high-quality grooms
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety
- Be dependable and professional
- Have excellent customer-service skills
- Be comfortable working independently
- Keep their grooming area clean and sanitary
