Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing excellent care and grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet the needs of both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments. Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions. Provide additional services such as pet sitting or basic training as needed. Stay updated on best practices in animal care, grooming techniques, and safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in animal care or pet grooming is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with animal handling techniques, including dog handling, animal restraint, and kennel management is advantageous. Experience as a veterinary technician or in equine care is a plus but not mandatory. A genuine love for animals combined with strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with both pets and their owners is essential.
