Animal Care Technician - Canine Central Nebraska Humane Society Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Cleaning kennels Caring for dogs of all sizes and ages Cleaning and maintaining shelter facilities Working with the public and volunteers Position requirements: Must be able to follow instructions and communicate well with other employees Bending, kneeling, physical lifting (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds) Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and must have a passion for animals and animal welfare Willingness and ability to learn dog behavior and training Weekend and holiday shifts required Must be reliable and punctual Must be able to work independently and self-manage
