Responsibilities Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments using proper animal restraint techniques Perform thorough pet baths, including shampooing, conditioning, and drying to achieve optimal coat health and appearance Conduct pet nail trimming with precision and care to ensure comfort and safety Assist with pet coat styling and grooming services that enhance the pet's overall look and well-being Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and after-care recommendations Maintain cleanliness of grooming salon, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Requirements Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred but not required Strong knowledge of animal care practices including animal restraint, nail trimming Ability to lift heavy objects safely—such as large dogs or equipment—while maintaining proper technique Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners confidently and professionally Background in kennel management or pet sitting can be beneficial for understanding comprehensive animal care needs A genuine love for animals combined with a positive attitude and energetic approach to daily tasks Join us in creating a joyful grooming experience for pets while building your career in animal care!
