610am•1230pm when needed. Join our dynamic pet care team as a Dog Daycare Attendant, where your enthusiasm for animals and energetic personality will shine! In this vital role, you will ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Your day-to-day efforts will promote positive socialization, proper animal handling, and exceptional customer service, creating a fun and secure space where dogs can thrive. If you love working outdoors, enjoy active tasks, and have a passion for animal care, this position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in pets' lives while developing valuable skills in animal behavior and pet wellness. Responsibilities Supervise dog playgroups to promote safe interactions and prevent conflicts Monitor dogs during their stay, ensuring proper behavior and handling at all times Assist with , feeding, administering medications, and basic grooming (bathing) as needed Maintain cleanliness of the facility by sanitizing play areas, and common spaces regularly Handle animals with gentle restraint techniques and ensure their comfort during activities Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' behavior and well-being Assist with facility maintenance including heavy lifting of supplies and outdoor work to keep the environment safe and inviting Qualifications Prior experience in veterinary settings, pet sitting, kennel work or animal care is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior management Experience with veterinary assistant tasks or pet grooming is a plus Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint methods and animal handling skills Comfortable performing outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong customer service skills to communicate positively with pet owners and visitors Capable of heavy lifting and team lifting to move supplies or equipment safely Attention to cleanliness for pet care facility sanitization and overall hygiene standards Join us if you're passionate about animals, thrive in active environments, and want to contribute to a caring community dedicated to pet wellness!
