Dedication to animal care and customer service will help create a positive experience for pets and their owners . This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pet grooming, animal handling, and client communication within a friendly and supportive environment. Duties Perform thorough baths, including shampooing, conditioning, and drying of dogs of various breeds/sizes/coat types and behaviors. Style pet coats through drying, brushing, and de-matting to meet owner preferences Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques during bathing procedures Assist groomers with animals, along with other basic pet care tasks and cleaning. Communicate effectively with pet owners Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and work areas regularly Kennel cleaning and animal handling duties as needed to ensure a safe environment for all pets Qualifications Prior experience in pet grooming or dog handling is highly preferred but are willing to train the right candidate.
