Responsibilities Assist with the daily care of animals, including feeding, watering, cleaning, and providing enrichment activities to promote mental stimulation. Handle dogs and other companion animals safely and confidently, ensuring proper restraint and behavior management. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards and prevent the spread of illness. Perform outdoor work such as walking dogs, cleaning outdoor enclosures, and monitoring animal activity in open spaces. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing their questions or concerns. Experience Prior kennel experience is highly desirable. Experience handling dogs and other animals in a kennel or pet care environment. Knowledge of animal behavior, welfare practices, and restraint techniques. Comfortable performing manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions. Strong animal handling skills combined with excellent customer service abilities to ensure pet safety and owner satisfaction.
