Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dog Bather/Assistant, where your enthusiasm and passion for animal care will shine! In this lively role, you will be the vital first step in ensuring our furry clients look and feel their best. You'll assist with pet grooming, bathing, and handling, creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. This position offers an energetic environment where your animal handling skills and love for pets make a real difference every day. Paid training is provided to help you excel in pet coat styling, grooming techniques, and animal restraint procedures. Responsibilities Safely bathe, dry, and groom dogs of various breeds and sizes with attention to detail and care Assist with pet handling during grooming sessions, ensuring animals are comfortable and secure Perform pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat brushing to maintain optimal pet hygiene Restrain animals gently but effectively during grooming procedures to ensure safety for pets and staff Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming services, special needs, and aftercare instructions Support the team by maintaining a clean and organized grooming area, including equipment sterilization Assist with heavy lifting of larger animals or equipment as needed to ensure smooth operations
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 15.0 per week
