We are a small, boutique doggie daycare with a great staff atmosphere and regular clientele. We service about 20 dogs on average on a daily basis, Monday-Friday. We are looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, go-getter, and especially someone who loves animals. The hours for this position would mostly be PM shift starting at 2 PM. Position is mainly daycare-focused, but also includes assisting the other departments when needed as well, such as grooming, boarding, or front desk. Daily tasks include watching the dogs and monitoring the safety and behavior of the group, feed times, cleaning up after the dogs and walking, taking notes, answering the phone, returning messages, sending "report cards" via our software, posting photos/videos on social media, and cleaning at the end of each day. We offer enrichment activities as well, so creating ideas and fun activities with the dogs is a large part of the position as well. Cleanliness and customer service are extremely important! Strong animal handling skills with a good understanding of dog behavior. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in veterinary assistance or pet grooming is a plus but not required. Must be comfortable working with various breeds and sizes of dogs. Ability to lift and handle dogs weighing up to 50 pounds safely. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
