Evening Shift Dog Daycare Attendant The Confident Canine (TCC) Are you passionate about dogs and take pride in keeping things organized, clean, and safe? We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Second Shift Daycare Attendant to help ensure our canine guests are comfortable, cared for, and ready to settle in for the evening. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has excellent attention to detail, and understands that every dog deserves exceptional care until the very end of the day. Responsibilities Supervise and care for dogs during the evening shift. Ensure all dogs have fresh water before the end of the night. Take dogs out for their final potty breaks and ensure they are comfortable for the evening. Clean and sanitize daycare rooms, suites, kennels, and common areas. Replace bedding and prepare clean, comfortable spaces for overnight stays. Monitor dogs for any changes in behavior, health, or comfort and report concerns. Follow all safety and handling procedures when moving and caring for dogs. Complete all assigned closing cleaning duties and daily checklists. Secure the facility by ensuring all doors, gates, and designated areas are locked before leaving. Work as part of a team to provide exceptional care and maintain a positive environment. Qualifications Previous experience working with dogs is preferred. Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift. Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
