Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Pet Care Provider to deliver exceptional care and attention to a variety of animals, including dogsand cats. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and happiness of pets under your care. Your enthusiasm for animal handling and pet exercise will help create a positive environment for pets and their owners alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your animal care skills, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families. Responsibilities Provide daily pet care including feeding, administering medication, and cleaning enclosures or living areas Engage pets in stimulating activities such as dog walking, training exercises, and outdoor play to promote physical health and mental well-being Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding pet behavior, health updates, and special needs Perform animal handling tasks with patience and confidence, including dog training and managing animal behavior issues Maintain detailed records of each pet's care routines, behaviors, and any health concerns for accurate reporting Skills Strong experience in handling, and understanding animal behavior Knowledge of cat care practices and experience Excellent client communication skills to build trust with pet owners and address their concerns clearly Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of animal care Physical stamina for heavy lifting when necessary for supplies or equipment related to pet care Join us as a Pet Care Provider to bring your passion for animals into a rewarding career that combines outdoor activity, skill development, and heartfelt service. Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
