Duties Provide attentive pet care by feeding, watering, medicating and monitoring animals throughout their stay Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, bedding, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills Assist with pet boarding, grooming, and basic training activities to promote animal comfort and behavior management Engage with pets using positive reinforcement techniques to support their behavioral needs Collaborate with team members during heavy lifting or team lifting tasks to ensure safety and efficiency in moving supplies or animals Requirements Prior experience in veterinary settings, pet sitting, or animal care facilities is highly preferred Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of animal behavior and restraint techniques Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and cleaning Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and visitors A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Ability to work weekends and holidays Join us in making a difference in the lives of kitties and their families!
