Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker/Pet sitter to join our team. Must be 21+. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of our furry clients while providing them with exercise, companionship, and attention during their walks. Must be willing to do in-home overnight stays and work 1 holiday. Must be willing to drive up to 25-30minutes. Duties Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Provide basic training commands during walks to reinforce good behavior. Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to pet owners. Maintain a clean environment by picking up after dogs during walks. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's needs and behavior. Handle multiple dogs at once while ensuring safety and control. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as helping with larger breeds or equipment related to dog care. Qualifications Experience in pet care, including dog walking, pet sitting, or animal handling is preferred. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and basic veterinary knowledge is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for larger dogs or equipment. Previous experience as a veterinary assistant or technician is advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential. Must be 21+ Must live within 10 miles of Randolph/Chester/Mount Olive areas Availability for Daily walks, some nights, and overnight stays. Overnights are a must.
