In this energetic role, you will provide professional grooming services that enhance each pet's appearance and comfort, ensuring a positive experience for both dogs and their owners. Your expertise will help strengthen our reputation as a trusted pet care provider, fostering loyalty and joy in our community of pet lovers. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences Assess each dog's coat condition, skin health, and temperament to tailor grooming techniques effectively Handle dogs with care using proper animal restraint and handling techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare recommendations Assist with pet care tasks such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and minor veterinary-related procedures when necessary Support the overall well-being of animals by providing gentle pet sitting or kennel assistance when needed Experience Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is required; certification from a recognized grooming school is a plus Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience enhances your ability to work safely with diverse breeds and temperaments Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles provides valuable insight into animal health and care practices Familiarity with animal restraint methods, pet sitting, kennel management, or heavy lifting related to animal care is advantageous Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their concerns confidently Proven ability to handle animals with patience, compassion, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners! $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
