About the Role As a Lodging Attendant (Animal Care Specialist) , you'll be responsible for the daily care, monitoring, and comfort of pets staying with us. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and essential to ensuring each pet's health, safety, and overall experience while lodging at our resort. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow structured care routines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide daily care for dogs, cats, and small animals, including feeding, watering, and administering activity packages Accurately track and record feeding, elimination, behavior, and services for each pet Perform detailed body checks during check-in and check-out to monitor health and condition Clean and sanitize pet suites, common areas, and outdoor spaces to maintain a safe and hygienic environment Launder bedding, towels, and equipment daily Safely handle pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Assist with pet drop-off and pick-up transitions between lodging and the front desk Follow structured schedules and care instructions specific to each pet Communicate clearly with team members and leadership regarding any concerns or observations Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively Requirements Must be 18 years or older to apply Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout your shift Weekend and holiday availability required Previous kennel experience or background in animal husbandry preferred but not required Ability to handle a variety of animals including dogs, cats, and small animals with confidence and compassion Comfortable working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment Willingness to be cross-trained in other departments Join us in making a difference by providing top-tier care for animals in a dynamic environment.
