Hi Cat Lover! I am Zuza, and O'Brian and I have owned Silver Hound Dog Walking & Cat Sitting since 2014. We take care of cats and dogs in Maplewood, South Orange, Millburn, Short Hills and West Orange. We are looking for a cat sitter, and this one is for someone who needs the day to bend around them. Cats are not clock watchers. As long as they are fed and checked on, the exact hour is yours to choose. That means you can do your visits early in the morning before the house wakes up, or in the evening once someone is home, or in the quiet middle of the day. You tell us what works and we build around it.

The honest part:

our busiest weeks are when everyone else is traveling. Thanksgiving, the winter holidays, spring break and summer. If you are usually home during those stretches, this will be very good money for you. If you travel then yourself, this probably is not the right fit.

WHAT YOU GET

YOU ARE NEVER OUT THERE ALONE

Our sitters cover for each other, so you are not stuck if you get sick or something comes up. And O'Brian and I and your colleagues are always reachable. If a cat will not come out, a litter box looks wrong, or something just feels off, you send one message and we figure it out together.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Honesty and the highest integrity
• Genuine comfort with cats, including the shy ones who take a few visits to trust you
• A car insured to yourself
• General availability sometime in the morning and afternoon/evening
• Availability on at least some weekends and holiday weeks, because that is when our clients travel
• Reliability.

A cat alone in a house is depending entirely on you showing up Interest in dog walking as well is a lovely bonus, but not required.
