An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Providing loving supervision for dogs of all breeds in an interactive environment. Assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and baths. Maintaining a clean and safe kennel environment. Helping to manage daily operations of the facility.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old Must have reliable transportation Must have open availability weekdays, weekends, and holidays for a total of 15-35 hours/week with potential for increased hours Comfortable managing dogs of all sizes and breeds Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a pack Willing to clean up after dogs all day long (You know what we mean) Must have a passion for working with dogs Previous experience working with animals is a plus, but not required!
