Purr'n Pooch Pet Resorts is a family owned pet care resort on the Jersey Shore. The resort has been in business for over 55 years. We are staffed 24 hours per day, 365 days a year for the care and comfort of our guests. We are hiring for part time and/or full time in both locations, Tinton Falls and Wall Township. This position requires a dependable, attentive individual who can work independently while maintaining a clean, secure, and calm environment throughout the night. Shift 8pm-6am

QUALIFICATIONS

Confidence around all breeds of pets Dependable. We work with pets that depend on us. Reliable transportation Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical tasks Previous experience in animal care or working in a pet boarding is preferred Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations Strong attention to detail and observational skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

Monitor pets overnight to ensure safety, health and comfort Perform scheduled wellness checks and observe of illness, injury or distress Clean and sanitize pet areas and common spaces to maintain a healthy environment Respond promptly to pet emergencies and notify management Ensure all doors, gates and facility entrances remain secure throughout the shift Communicate important updates to the daytime staff during shift change Follow all company policies, safety procedures and animal handling protocols Join us in providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for pets while they enjoy their stay at our resort!
