This position can be demanding, but it provides great insight and exposure to the veterinary setting for anyone potentially interested in stepping in to the field. Experience in a kennel setting, whether it be a hospital, shelter, or boarding facility, is always welcomed, but not necessary. Duties will include, but not be limited to: Walking and feeding boarding pets Cleaning up after boarding pets Performing grooming services such as baths and shaves Sweeping and mopping Washing dishes and cleaning kennels Organizing and keeping track of boarding pet belongings Running laundry throughout the day Maintaining a safe and clean environment for animals and coworkers alike Applicants are expected to communicate efficiently and multitask. Willingness to learn, attention to detail, ability to listen, and follow instructions are key.
