We focus on safe handling, thorough baths, and a calm, clean shop. We're hiring an experienced bather who can work efficiently and send dogs home clean, dry, and comfortable. Job type Part-time What you'll do Bathe dogs of all sizes, breeds, and coat types using the correct shampoo and technique for each dog Thoroughly rinse, towel-dry, and blow-dry coats safely Brush and de-shed so the groomer can work efficiently Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, and sanitary prep as trained and requested Watch each dog for stress, skin issues or anything unusual and report it immediately Keep tubs, dryers, tools, and the bathing area clean and sanitized between dogs Help with laundry, sweeping, restocking products, and general shop upkeep Work as a team with the groomer(s) so the day stays on schedule Treat pets and their people with patience and respect Requirements Professional dog bathing experience required (salon, spa, or similar grooming environment) Confident, safe handling of dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments Ability to lift and move dogs in and out of the tub Comfort standing for long periods and working around water, dryers, and pet hair Reliable, on time, and able to keep a clean, organized workstation High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Schedule:
Shop is open from 9am to 4pm, 7 days a week. Weekends are required to work. Pay $12-$15/hr depending on experience, plus tips How to apply: Apply on Indeed with a short note about your bathing experience and availability. Please include where you've bathed dogs and how long.
