Part-Time Dog Walker Pawsitively Love

LLC - 5.0

Manhattan, NY Job Details Part-time $100 - $200 a week 7 hours ago Qualifications Companion animal handling Pet care experience in outdoor settings Outdoor work experience Dog handling Cleaning Full Job Description Pawsitively Love is looking for dog lovers! At the moment we are hiring for part-time positions, but there is a possibility that the positions could turn into full-time. This would depend upon performance, reliability and new opportunities that we may have to offer in the future when we have the most dependable staff. In the beginning, there would be approximately 2 - 8 hours per week. Pay is per walk, so the more walks you take, the more money you make. We hope to find people who live close to the UWS or UES of Manhattan and who may be able to help with last-minute requests when really needed, but who also enjoy a slightly changing schedule. When you work with animals, no 2 days are the same! Job duties would include (though are not limited to): ensuring the safety of our dogs, punctual arrival to work, communicating with the office, walking dogs of all sizes and breeds, cleaning up after any of our dogs, refreshing water, leaving notes, etc. We are looking for people who truly LOVE DOGS, who are honest, reliable, punctual, who are prepared to work in all weather and who have positive attitudes! This work is all-weather (rain, snow, hot, cold, sunshine!), and all applicants are required to purchase their own Metrocards / OMNY cards for transportation, though we do provide OMNY cards for employees who are with us for at least 6 months. This work is also incredibly rewarding, if you love dogs and enjoy creating bonds with and bringing joy to them - and also being outdoors! We try to keep one walker with the same dogs, so you would be given the opportunity to make a real difference in dog's lives. Please feel free to ask any additional questions when you apply / send in your resume.
