Dog Groomer / Salon Manager Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dog Groomer to ensure exceptional pet care services. This role involves hands-on pet grooming, styling, and handling, as well as providing outstanding customer communication. The ideal candidate will combine technical grooming skills with strong leadership abilities to create a welcoming environment for clients and their pets. Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing to meet client specifications and breed standards. Style pet coats to enhance appearance and comfort while adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Handle dogs safely and confidently during grooming procedures, ensuring animal welfare at all times. Provide attentive pet care, monitoring animals' health and behavior throughout the grooming process. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences, provide updates, and offer advice on pet coat maintenance. Foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and excellent customer service. This is a commission based role - looking for part-time hours up to 30 hours per week including weekend availability Qualifications Proven experience in dog grooming with a strong portfolio of grooming styles and techniques. Knowledge of pet coat styling, animal handling, and basic animal care practices. Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members. Ability to handle dogs safely and confidently during grooming procedures. Passion for animal welfare and providing exceptional customer service. Organizational skills to manage appointments and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
