Handle dogs safely and compassionately, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures. Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Daily clean up duties will be assigned for the end of the day. Heavy lifting of supplies or pets may be required; ensure proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Experience Previous experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is highly desirable. Familiarity with dog training principles and veterinary experience enhances your ability to handle animals confidently. Experience with animal restraint techniques ensures safety for both pets and staff during grooming procedures. Knowledge of handling skills with large and small animals Strong customer service skills are beneficial for interacting positively with pet owners and team members.
