$15.00 per hour} Schedule - Monday-Friday Mornings Red Dog Pet Resort & Spa is looking for a dependable, animal-loving Bather to join our Springdale team! This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with dogs, takes pride in providing safe and attentive care, and is comfortable working in a busy grooming environment. As a Bather, you'll help make sure every dog has a safe, comfortable, and positive grooming experience while supporting our grooming team and keeping the salon clean and organized. What You'll Do Safely retrieve and return dogs before and after bathing or grooming services. Brush, comb, bathe, rinse, condition, dry, and prepare dogs according to service instructions and salon standards. Perform basic nail trims, ear cleaning, and other approved services within your training. Use appropriate shampoos, conditioners, drying methods, and handling techniques based on each dog's size, coat, skin, temperament, and needs. Follow animal-handling, bathing, drying, equipment, chemical, and sanitation procedures. Clean and sanitize tubs, cages, counters, floors, dryers, brushes, combs, tools, and bathing areas. Restock supplies and help keep the salon clean, safe, and organized. Support the grooming and resort team as needed. What We're Looking For Comfortable working hands-on with dogs of different sizes, breeds, coat types, temperaments, and needs. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, and safety rules. Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and kindly with team members, clients, and leadership. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company scheduling, reservation, and pet-care systems. High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in pet care, grooming, bathing, veterinary care, daycare, boarding, or another animal-care environment is preferred . Physical Requirements With or without reasonable accommodation, this active, hands-on position may involve extended periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand and arm movement. The role involves safely handling dogs of various sizes and may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling supplies, equipment, or animals generally weighing up to 50 pounds. Assistance should be used for heavier animals or items when appropriate. The grooming environment may include water, dryers, animal noise, hair and dander, odors, cleaning products, and wet or slippery surfaces.Pay:
