Job Description
Join Our Professional Grooming Team! Gone to the Dogs is looking for a dependable, energetic Dog Bather / Brusher to join our grooming team. This is a hands-on position working alongside professional groomers and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with dogs or wants to gain experience in the grooming industry. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. Responsibilities Bathe, dry and brush dogs in preparation for grooming Safely handle dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments Assist groomers throughout the workday Maintain clean and sanitary bathing and work areas Follow all pet-handling and safety procedures Assist with client check-in/check-out and light front-desk duties Assist with our small-dog daycare when needed What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual and hardworking Comfortable handling and lifting dogs of various sizes Able to work efficiently in a busy, team-oriented environment Good communication and customer-service skills Available Tuesday-Saturday Reliable transportation and able to work at both salon locations Previous dog handling, bathing, grooming, kennel, daycare or veterinary experience is a plus
