Camp Run-A-Mutt is looking for a Yard attendant! We are looking for a candidate that can work 30+ hours per week! We are looking schedule flexibility to work AM, mid-day or PM shifts. Interaction with all dogs using proper dog handling techniques, praise and correction tools as instructed by management Always maintain visual observation of dogs , spreading attention and play among all dogs Take appropriate action to ensure safety of dogs and staff in accordance with CRAM policies and procedures Administer feeding and medications Work successfully as part of a team Log events, and maintain records Clean and maintain facilities and equipment as posted or assigned Maintain play yard by scooping dog waste immediately, disposing of it as instructed, and cleaning up any residue Maintain laundering of towels and dog bedding Cleaning/disinfecting food bowls, water buckets, and toys as instructed What do you need to be successful? Passionate about dogs and their well-being. Work in a team environment and be a team player Able to multi-task in a constant varied environment Effectively communicate with staff and dogs Familiarity with dog behavior, body language, and breed traits Successful traits policies and procedures Experience working and demonstrated adaptability in a fast-paced environment Able to work outdoors in varying weather and temperatures throughout the year Must be able to work weekends and holidays Please note: This role will start at $13/hr.
