Overview Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Groomer, where your passion for animals and talent for styling come together to create happy, healthy, and beautifully groomed dogs. In this energetic role, you will provide expert grooming services that enhance each pet's comfort and appearance while ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Your dedication to animal care and customer service will help build lasting relationships within our community of pet lovers. Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling to meet each pet's specific needs and owner preferences Handle dogs safely and confidently using animal restraint techniques to ensure a stress-free grooming process Conduct pet coat styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming tasks with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide expert advice on pet coat maintenance Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use Assist with animal handling during grooming appointments, ensuring proper animal restraint and safety protocols are followed Support pet care routines such as feeding or administering medications if necessary, demonstrating compassion and professionalism Requirements Proven experience in dog grooming, pet styling Strong dog handling skills with the ability to work confidently with animals of all sizes and temperaments Knowledge of veterinary experience or veterinary technician background is a plus for understanding health considerations during grooming Familiarity with animal restraint techniques, pet nail trimming, and coat styling tools is essential Excellent communication skills to engage with pet owners clearly and professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling larger dogs or equipment setup Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is advantageous for understanding animal behavior and care needs Join us in creating a joyful grooming experience that pets love!
