Overview Join our dynamic team as a Kennel Attendant and become a vital part of providing exceptional care and comfort to our furry friends. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for animals in our care. Your dedication will ensure that each pet receives attentive pet care, proper handling, and a positive experience during their stay. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals while supporting the well-being of pets and peace of mind for their owners. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment Handle animals with gentle restraint and care, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Engage in light training activities like dog training exercises to promote good behavior and socialization Skills Experience with dog handling, training, or veterinary care is highly desirable Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and animal handling best practices Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning or moving supplies and animals Prior kennel experience or animal care background that demonstrates reliability and compassion Join us in creating a safe, caring environment where every pet feels loved and valued.
