Job Description

Our Vibe We are a quiet, high-end grooming boutique dedicated to a calm, personalized experience. We reject the chaotic, high-volume, assembly-line salon model. Our space is a peaceful sanctuary—not just for the dogs, but for our stylists too. We focus heavily on quality over quantity, zero workplace drama, and meaningful 1-on-1 client connections.

As a fresh, growing boutique, we are constantly refining our workflow. We want a foundational team member who is genuinely excited to grow with us and embraces the natural evolution of a new business. The Role We are looking for an experienced, independent Pet Stylist who is confident managing their own day. Because we focus on individualized care, you will frequently run the boutique solo during your shifts. This is the perfect home for a seasoned professional who loves the artistry of grooming but wants a quiet, respectful atmosphere to practice their craft.
What We Are Looking For The Experience:
2-3 years of professional, hands-on grooming experience with a portfolio that highlights your skill.
The Artistry:
Sharp technical skills in breed-standard cuts, scissor work, and safe, gentle handling.
The Mindset:
A positive, adaptable, and cooperative attitude. Workplace drama has no home here.
The Independence:
Complete comfort working solo, managing your appointment flow, and confidently locking up the shop.
Schedule & Hours Core Days:
Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
Built-in Balance:
One full weekend off every month, planned in advance.
Steady But Flexible:
We set core hours upon hiring so we can book clients reliably. That said, we understand real life happens. If you need a shift adjustment, you have a direct line to the owner to work it out whenever possible.
What We Offer Premium Commission Pay:
A commission-only structure scaled to your experience level, plus 100% of your tips.
Fully Equipped Station:
All tools and major equipment are provided for you. All we ask is that you respect and care for them like your own. (Of course, you are always welcome to bring your favorite personal shears if you prefer them!)
A Peaceful Workspace:
A quiet, beautiful environment free from the noise and stress of traditional commercial shops.
Autonomy:
The freedom and trust to manage your workflow like the true professional you are.
Pay:
$750.00 - $1,000.00 per week
Work Location:
In person
